I’m Damon Henry, founder and CEO of KORTX. Since 2014 we’ve worked with more than 350 agencies and managed more than $300 million in media. KORTX works as an agency API: a layer agencies plug into for measurement, operations and AI, instead of building it all themselves.

I’m an engineer first. I still build the systems, and this site is where I write down what I learn doing it: what works, what doesn’t, and what I got wrong. No hype. Every essay is a draft chapter of a book, Engineering the Modern Agency.

I didn’t take the straight path here. I got kicked out of public school, and a basketball coach taught me that life is mostly what you make of it. That story is here.

Away from work I’m a husband and a dad of two, which mostly means sitting in the stands at my kids’ games. When I get time of my own, it goes to golf, the boat or a snowboard.
